After checkout, SalesTouch sends you to the LinkedIn connection screen. Follow the guided login once; SalesTouch will use that session for the actions you approve.

Have these ready

LinkedIn may ask for an extra check during the first login. That is normal.

  • Your LinkedIn email and password.
  • Your authenticator setup key if two-factor authentication is enabled.
  • Your phone nearby for a code or in-app approval.
Paste the authenticator setup key, not the temporary 6-digit code, when SalesTouch asks for it.

Connect your AI client

Install the SalesTouch MCP.

Use the same remote MCP URL in Codex or Claude. Complete the OAuth window when it opens so your agent receives only the permissions you approve.

Load the tools, then test them

Open a new conversation.

This matters: a fresh Codex task or Claude conversation reloads the available MCP tools. Then use one read-only prompt to check the complete connection before taking any LinkedIn action.

Install

New conversation

Paste the prompt

Connection verified

First SalesTouch prompt
Inspect the SalesTouch MCP tools available in this conversation and explain everything we can do with SalesTouch. Then confirm which LinkedIn account is connected. Do not take any action yet.

Tools loaded

The agent sees SalesTouch in its tool list.

OAuth complete

No new authentication is requested.

Account found

Your connected LinkedIn account is returned.

Capabilities listed

The agent groups what it can read and do.

Quick fixes

If something does not connect.

SalesTouch is missing

Restart the client, open a new conversation, and confirm that the connector is enabled for that conversation.

Authentication is required

Finish the OAuth window, return to your AI client, then open a fresh conversation before testing again.

No LinkedIn account appears

Return to the LinkedIn setup screen and make sure the account status is connected before verifying the MCP.
