email_messages

Read one email thread page by page from the newest message, with the full message text. Continue with next_cursor to load older messages; order only sorts messages within a page.

When to use it

Read the full text of an email conversation before replying, including older messages beyond the latest page.

Expected: The thread with its mailbox and lead, one page of messages with full text and delivery status, and next_cursor for older messages.

Parameters

thread_idrequired
string

Email thread id returned by email_conversations or email_threads.

limit
integer

Maximum messages per page. Defaults to 50.

cursor
string

next_cursor from the previous page. Each continuation loads older messages.

order
string

Message order within the page. Defaults to oldest_first.

Aliases are shown independently because MCP clients send a flat JSON object. Use one alias from each required group, not every alias.

Common errors

insufficient_scope

Reconnect the MCP and approve the requested LinkedIn permission.

paid_plan_required

Use a SalesTouch workspace with LinkedIn MCP access.

trial_payment_method_required

Add a payment method in SalesTouch billing to activate the trial and LinkedIn MCP access.

ACCESS_DENIED

Use a thread id from a mailbox you can read.

INVALID_CURSOR

Restart without cursor, or reuse next_cursor exactly as returned.
