Import leads

leads_import

Import up to 1000 leads with email addresses, names, company, LinkedIn URL, and tags into the workspace lead directory.

When to use it

Bring your own lead list into SalesTouch before email or LinkedIn outreach.

Requirements

Give every lead an email address or a LinkedIn profile URL.
Send at most 1000 leads per call and split larger lists into batches.

Expected: Created, updated, and skipped counts, row-level errors, and the SalesTouch lead id of every imported lead.

Parameters

leadsrequired
array

Leads to import, at most 1000 per call. Each lead needs an email address or a LinkedIn profile URL.

source_name
string

Import name recorded as the lead source, for example a list or event name.

tags
array

Tags added to every imported lead.

Aliases are shown independently because MCP clients send a flat JSON object. Use one alias from each required group, not every alias.

Common errors

insufficient_scope

Reconnect the MCP and approve the requested LinkedIn permission.

paid_plan_required

Use a SalesTouch workspace with LinkedIn MCP access.

trial_payment_method_required

Add a payment method in SalesTouch billing to activate the trial and LinkedIn MCP access.

invalid_input

Send between 1 and 1000 leads, each with a valid email address or LinkedIn profile URL.
